Dr Olga Burova is co-investigator on this project.
Olga is Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Social and Political Processes, Institute of Sociology NAS of Ukraine.
She is an interdisciplinary scholar in the field of social change and its relationship to the individual wellbeing and health in Ukraine. At the Institute of Sociology, she is responsible for facilitating the Institute’s annual national survey, which focuses on the monitoring of social change in the Ukrainian society. She took part in several research projects investigating the electoral behaviour in Ukraine, the impact of regional factors on political consciousness and behaviour of Ukrainian citizens.
In 2020 – 2021, she was involved in the project of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine investigating social, economic and psychological consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ukraine. She is currently involved (as a lead researcher) in the ‘Generation Z’ project, which is funded by the Ukrainian State Cinema Fund to foster intergenerational dialogue in helping parents understand their children's needs.
In 2016, Dr Burova participated in the Erasmus+ academic staff exchange mobility programme as a visiting researcher at the University of Bedfordshire.
She is an author of more than 20 articles and a monograph ‘Vital Comfort of the Ukrainian Population within the Context of Urbanization: A Sociological Analysis’.
